As part of the Pennsylvania Defense & Innovation Summit, the Erie contingent met directly with CEOs and industry leaders in the maritime and manufacturing sectors to showcase Erie’s strengths and explore opportunities for future growth.

Through Choose Erie, PA (Build Ships Faster) and the broader Erie Maritime Initiative, Infinite Erie is helping ensure our region has a seat at the table as conversations around domestic shipbuilding and maritime supply chains continue to gain momentum. Erie offers a unique combination of assets, including the largest dry dock on the Great Lakes, extensive industrial waterfront property, a strong manufacturing base, and a highly skilled workforce.

These conversations are about more than awareness. By engaging directly with industry and government leaders, Erie is positioning itself for opportunities that can strengthen our economy, support business expansion, grow our workforce, and create family-sustaining jobs for years to come.
