ERIE, PA (Feb. 11, 2026) — Infinite Erie celebrated the recent passage of federal funding appropriations that advance several priority projects identified in the Infinite Erie Playbook, marking a significant step forward for economic development, housing, and workforce initiatives across Erie County.

“These investments represent real momentum for Erie,” said Kim Thomas, Executive Director of Infinite Erie. “This funding moves critical redevelopment, infrastructure, and workforce projects from vision to reality—creating measurable progress that benefits everyone in our community.

“At Infinite Erie, we strengthen Erie’s economic and community development system by identifying, cultivating, and prioritizing the projects that matter most. By coordinating public, private, and civic partners, we turn shared priorities into tangible results that drive growth and opportunity. We are grateful to U.S. Sen. Fetterman, U.S Sen. McCormick and Congressman Mike Kelly for championing these initiatives and helping secure resources that will keep Erie moving forward.”

The projects benefiting Erie County are:

  • Supported by Congressman Kelly, this funding is expected to support infrastructure improvements at the McKean Business Park, enhancing the site’s readiness for future industrial and commercial development.
  • Erie County Land Bank – Cornerstone Community Land Trust: $1.1 million
Supported by Sen. Fetterman, this investment will support the creation of new affordable housing units in Erie County, addressing critical housing needs and supporting neighborhood stability.
