Project Description:
Ironworks Square encompasses the remediation and revitalization of a key 5 acre parcel at W. 12th & Cherry Streets along Erie’s industrial corridor. Clean-up and demolition has occurred over the last 2 years and now renovation of a 73,000 sq. ft mixed use building has begun. Renovation will result in the first phase honoring Erie’s industrial past while looking forward to its future. The new technology park will be known as Ironworks Square and will have multiple phases.

Ironworks Square began renovations of the existing 73,000 sq.ft structure on May 1st. This will all be commercial and industrial space. Discussions are underway currently with multiple prospective tenants.
Targeted completion date: December 2025
Simultaneously, remediation work will continue on the west and south side of the property.
